With this Simson Chain Tool H.G./U.G. a bicycle chain can be shortened or repaired by partially pressing out the pin of a chain link. Remove the unnecessary links with this chain tool. An advice is to not completely push out the pin, because it is very difficult to put it back. Place the chain on the sprockets and close the ends of the chain with a Simson connecting link. This chain tool is only suitable for Uniglide and Hyperglide chains.
